Cougars at Pac-10 Track & Field Championships in Tempe
5/14/2008 Track ~ Washington State University will be represented by 23 men and 24 women competitors at the Pacific-10 Conference Track & Field Championships, Friday and Saturday, May 16-17, at Arizona State University's Joe Selleh Track at Sun Angel Stadium...each day will have a hammer throw at 10:30 a.m. but all other events will occur in the evening hours, beginning at 5 p.m., to avoid some of the extreme temperatures that are expected for the desert location...results from the meet will be posted at www.wsucougars.com following the last scheduled event each day.
Burduli Named Northwest Region Winner of Arthur Ashe Award

Tennis ~ Washington State University senior tennis player Ekaterina Burduli added to her impressive 2008 season by being named the 2008 Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Northwest Region winner of the ITA/Arthur Ashe Jr. Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship, the association announced earlier this week.
Cougar Baseball Travels to UCLA for Three-Game Series
5/14/2008 Baseball ~ Washington State travels to Los Angeles for a three-game Pacific-10 Conference series at UCLA, May 16-18...game times are 6 p.m., Friday, 1:36 p.m., Saturday, and 1 p.m., Sunday...Saturday's game will be televised by FOX Sports Net... Barry Tompkins and Jerry Kindall will call the action...game will re-broadcast at 1:30 a.m., Sunday, May 18 and at noon, Monday, May 19.
