Football
The Washington State football team had a bye and will be hosting UCLA Saturday.

Soccer
The Cougar soccer squad posted a 2-1 victory over Washington. It was the fourth straight win over the Huskies.

  • Allison Scurich and Kiersten Dallstream each scored a goal in the win.
  • It was the second Pacific-10 Conference victory for the Cougars.
  • Dallstream has a team-leading eight goals.

Volleyball
The WSU volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to No. 4 USC (30-25, 20-30, 30-24, 30-8) and No. 7 UCLA (33-31, 30-18, 30-23).

  • Tara West hit .500 for 15 kills and posted six blocks to lead the Cougars against USC.
  • In the first game against UCLA, there were 21 ties between the two teams.
  • The pair of losses dropped WSU to 9-14 overall and 0-9 in the Pac-10.

Women's Tennis
WSU competed at the ITA Northwest Regional Saturday. Ekaterina Burduli won her first match 6-1, 6-2 but fell in the round of 16 (7-5, 6-2).

Rowing
WSU won six of seven races against Gonzaga to capture the Head of the Spokane title. Three of the four varsity eight boats were victorious as well as three novice eight boats.

Women's Golf
The WSU women's golf team placed 18th at the Stanford Intercollegiate. The 18-team field boasted 11 teams ranked in the nation's top 30 by Golfweek. <
