Cougars Set to Face No. 27 Louisiana State in NCAA Tournament First Round
No. 42 Washington State University (16-9) will make its first apperance in the NCAA Tournament since the 2002 season when it faces No. 27 Louisiana State May 9 in first-round action in Berkeley Calif.

The 2008 Washington State University Athletic Foundation Golf Tournament tour continues with the Washington Trust Bank Devlin Cougar Golf Classic and Banquet, May 15, at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, and the Bank of Whitman Palouse Golf Classic, May 16, at the Clarkston Country Club.

Cougars Begin Pac-10 Track Championships in Tempe
Washington State University will be represented by two heptathletes and one decathlete at the Pacific-10 Conference Combined Events Championships, Friday and Saturday, May 9-10, at Arizona State University's Joe Selleh Track at Sun Angel Stadium...freshmen Angela Jensen and Jalissa Williams are WSU women competing in the heptathlon...senior Rickey Moody will compete in the decathlon...a limited number of competitors from the Cougars track and field teams will also be running, jumping and throwing at the Vandal Jamboree, May 9-10 at Moscow, Idaho.

Cougar Baseball Rolls Over BYU
Washington State scored five times in the first inning and rolled to a 12-5 victory and two-game sweep against BYU in nonconference baseball, Wednesday.
