JUNIOR (2006-07): Outdoor - Top javelin toss of season came at WSU-UW Dual meet, an NCAA Regional Qualifying mark of 67.62m/221-10, for first place...finished fourth in javelin at Pac-10 Championships with toss of 65.70m/215-7...finished 11th at NCAA West Regionals with distance of 58.96m/193-5...finished 24th at NCAA Championships with toss of 59.77m/196-1...named to Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention team.
SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Outdoor - Threw a PR, NCAA Regional Qualifying and eighth-best in school history mark of 68.95m/226-2 at the Trojan Invite (3/25/06, Los Angeles)...hurt ribs on throw and retired from competition...finished fifth at Pac-10 Championships with a toss of 65.39m/214-6 (5/14/06, Eugene)...took sixth place at NCAA West Regional with toss of 66.16m/217-1 (5/27/06, Provo)...at NCAA Championships threw the javelin 60.25m/197-8 for 24th in the prelims (6/9/06, Sacramento)...named to Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention team...named to Div. I USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team.
FRESHMAN (2004-05): Outdoor - Threw an NCAA Regional Qualifying javelin distance of 63.50m/208-4 at WSU-UW Dual Meet (4/30/05, Seattle)...top mark on team...finished 12th in javelin at Pac-10 Championships with toss of 58.36m/191-6 (5/15/05, Los Angeles)...struggled at NCAA West Regional Championships with prelims toss of 55.48m/182-0 (5/27/05, Eugene).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned nine letters at West Valley High...three each in football and basketball for coaches Tim Trout and Jamie Nilles...two in baseball for coach Don O'Neal and one in track under coach Jim McLachlan...was third in at state in the javelin as a senior...set Eagles school record with a mark of 193-7...named first team all-state and first team all-Great Spokane League as captain of the basketball team...was basketball scoring champ averaging 24 ppg...captained the football team and earned all-GSL honorable mention honors...placed 11th in the young men's javelin throw at the 2004 USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships.
