WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2007-08): Indoor - First career complete pentathlon was at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships with score of 3,311 points for eighth (2/29/08, Seattle)...Outdoor - Took sixth place in the heptathlon at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invite with a PR 4,498 points (4/11/08, Los Angeles)...at the Pac-10 Championships finished 14th in the heptathlon with 4,472 points.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at Fife High School...three in volleyball for coach Jan Kirk, one in basketball for coach Mike Ryan, and three in track for coach Brian Meyer...also wrestled on girls' team junior and senior years...named Nisqually League honorable mention volleyball team as sophomore and second team as senior...vball team placed fourth at state junior year...captain of track and field team junior and senior seasons...first team all-league all three years...sophomore season placed third in 100m hurdles and seventh in 300m hurdles at state 3A meet...junior year was state champion in 100m dash (12.24) and 300m hurdles (44.41) and runner-up in 100m hurdles (PR time 14.09)...honored by Tacoma Athletic Commission...outstanding achievement award from City of Fife...Tacoma News Tribune Athlete of the Month...Seattle P-I all-star...as a senior, state champion in 100m dash (12.24), 100m hurdles (14.30) and 300m hurdles (44.93), fourth in high jump...named Tacoma Athletic Commission Athlete of the Year...competed on Nemesis track club for coach Martha Mendenhall...competed at the 2004 USATF Junior Championships...member of SeaTown Express Track Club in 2006 and competed at Junior Olympics meet.

Born in August 1988 in Tacoma, Wash....father Scott is a project manager, and mother Veronica, works in accounting...younger brother Tom...older sister Denise and younger sister Christine...earned academic letter in the President's Education Awards Renaissance Program...majoring in general social sciences at WSU.
