Washington State Concludes Homestand with Game Against Gonzaga

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State baseball team concludes a four-game homestand when it takes on Gonzaga, Tuesday, March 25 at 5:30 p.m.

The Cougars (14-7) are ranked 28th in this week's Collegiate Baseball poll. In addition, WSU is receiving votes for the fourth-consecutive week in the National Collegeiate Baseball Writers Association poll and for the second-straight week in the ESPN/USA Today rankings.

Freshman shortstop Shea Vucinich leads the Cougars with a .392 batting average. Senior third baseball Paul Gran has collected a team-leading 27 RBI in 19 games played.

Gonzaga enters the week 15-8 and play UC Davis, Monday. Tuesday's meeting with the Cougars will be the fifth game in five days, all on the road, for the Bulldogs.
