WSU Basketball Players to Sign Autographs at Football Game in Seattle

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University men's basketball seniors Aron Baynes and Taylor Rochestie will be on hand to sign autographs prior to kickoff as the WSU football team opens up its 2008 season against Oklahoma State at the Cougar Gridiron Classic, Saturday, Aug. 30 at Qwest Field.

Baynes and Rochestie will be stationed in the Qwest Field Exhibition Center from 10 a.m. until noon to greet Cougar fans and sign autographs. The 2008 Cougar Hardwood Classic collectable poster, featuring both players, will be available to fans.

Last season Baynes and Rochestie tied for third on the team with 10.4 points per game. Baynes, a 6-foot-10 center, also led WSU in rebounds (6.0 rpg) and field goal percentage (.600). A 6-1 point guard, Rochestie led the team and ranked 10th in the nation with a 2.8 assist/turnover ratio and averaged a team-high 4.7 assists per game.
