ABDULLAH'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

Attended Pomona High...coached by John Capraro, earning two varsity letters as a safety...also competed in track in the high jump...SENIOR season an all-league pick with 115 tackles...forced nine fumbles and had three interceptions...also named to the All-Inland Valley team and was team's defensive back MVP.

ABDULLAH'S WSU CAREER

FRESHMAN (2000-01): Redshirt season...earned one weekly team award: Idaho/Defensive Scout Team.

RS-FRESHMAN (2001-02): V-letter...Games - 7...Starts - 0...after not playing in the first three games, played in the next seven, generally on special teams...suffered a knee injury at Arizona State that sidelined him for the Washington and Sun Bowl games...earned the following weekly team awards: OSU/Specialist of the Week/Most Disciplined Special Team/Assassin/Gamebreaker; Oregon/Specialist of the Week.

RS-SOPHOMORE (2002-03): V-letter...Games - 9...Starts - 0...did not play in the Nevada opener...primarily saw action on special teams and on obvious passing plays...compound dislocation of finger on right hand prior to Montana State game...missed action against MSU, Cal and USC...had a career-high three tackles against ASU and two tackles against Washington...two tackles in WSU's Rose Bowl game against Oklahoma.

RS-JUNIOR (2003-04): Games - 12...Starts - 0...earned the following weekly team awards: Iron Man - Arizona. Special Teams: Punts, punt returns. • Registered a season high four tackles against UCLA; • Had three stops against Stanford and two tackles in five other games...only TFL came against Arizona; • Key player in WSU's "dime" defense; • Missed WSU's win over Texas in the Holiday Bowl after suffering a bruised knee in practice.
