RS-FRESHMAN (2008): Earned a varsity letter after seeing action in 11 games on season, five in a starting role...started the first three games of the year, at both left tackle and left guard...also had starts at Arizona State and against Washington in the Apple Cup...missed UCLA and Oregon State games due to injury....named Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic honorable mention.

Earned three varsity letters in football and wrestling...earned four varsity letters in track and field...as a SOPHOMORE completed track and field season with a third place finish at state in the shot put and a fourth place finish in the discus...JUNIOR season named honorable mention for the Northwest League as both an offensive and defensive lineman...team captain...at state tournaments finished third in wrestling and then third in both the shot put and discus...SENIOR year named first-team All-Northwest League as both an offensive and defensive lineman...named to the all-state team as an offensive lineman by Seattle Times, Associated Press and Washington Preps...named to the Tacoma News Tribune "Western 100" list...voted most inspirational and awarded lineman of the year by his team...named to Seattle Times Red Chip list...ended prep career by winning state shot put (64-7.5) and discus (171-0) titles...in the Meet of Champions (Washington vs. Oregon), won the discus (188-11) and set a meet record the shot put (64-4.25).
