Worked his way into the starting lineup against Stanford and started five straight before a right hip sprain sidelined him against Oregon;
Had three receptions for 78 yards at California, including a 66-yard TD catch and run; also had three catches against Arizona State...first TD reception was a 44-yarder at Nevada;
Returned five kickoffs 91 yards at Oregon State;
One of nine true freshmen to see varsity action.
SOPHOMORE (2006-07): V-letter...Games 12...Starts 9...All-Pacific-10 Conference academic honorable mention...received the following single-game team awards: WSU's Pac-10 nomination on offense for play against California...Special Teams: Kickoff Return, Punt Return:
Ended the season with 49 receptions for a team-leading 731 yards...second on the team in receptions...also second with four touchdown receptions;
Ranked sixth in the Pac-10, averaging 60.9 receiving yards per game;
Took over a starting roll after Chris Jordan suffered a severe knee injury and stayed in that role for the final nine games;
Against California recorded career highs with eight receptions for 130 yards;
Also had eight receptions against UCLA and Washington, the latter for 129 yards and one touchdown;
Caught a 91-yard pass from Alex Brink against Arizona, the second longest pass play in WSU history;
Returned two kickoffs 41 yards.

Brandon Lewis Gibson...born August 13, 1987 in Germany...parents Steve Gibson and Marlene Williams...has two sisters, Sherelle and Nicole Wade, and one brother, Steven...uncle Vaughn Williams played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts...majoring in history with a teaching emphasis at WSU.
