SOPHOMORE (2008):
Joined the Cougars in fall camp after transferring from Moorpark Junior College...connected on 9-of-13 (.692) field goals, including a long of 47, for the season ...also converted 13-of-14 extra points and had six kickoffs totaling 302 yards, a 50.3 average...totaled 40 points on season...named Pacific-10 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week following the Apple Cup where he kicked three field goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime, to clinch the Cougars' come-from-behind, 16-13 victory over the Huskies...Grasu hit a 28-yard attempt as time expired in regulation before connecting on a 19-yarder in the first overtime ...clinched victory with a 37-yard field goal, capping a perfect 3-for-3 afternoon...had season-best 47-yarder at UCLA and also made two FGs against Portland State...his 43-yard FG against Cal were WSU's only points of contest...shared WSU's Special Teams Player of the Week award with Patrick Rooney following Portland State game.
