LOBBESTAEL'S WSU CAREER
RS-FRESHMAN (2008): Earned varsity letter having played in five games, three as a starter, before suffering season-ending knee injury at Oregon State...season totals included completing 53-of-103 passes for 571 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions...saw first collegiate action against Cal...had most efficient game two weeks later against Portland State, completing 9-of-12 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns...first two pass attempts went for touchdowns covering 14 and 53 yards, the latter being a season-long to Devin Frischknecht...named WSU and Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week following that performance...season-high 192 yards passing against Oregon, completing 22-of-41 attempts...suffered ACL and MCL injury late in third quarter Oct. 11 at Oregon State, ending season.

Earned three varsity letters in football under head coach Dave Ward...earned four varsity letters in baseball under Jim Waller...earned three letters in basketball under coach Mike Washington...as a SOPHOMORE earned honorable mention all-league honors in football...honorable mention all-state in baseball...JUNIOR year guided team to quarterfinal appearance in football...second-team all-league...threw for 12 touchdowns and 1,351 yards...selected as first-team utility player and second-team pitcher...during SENIOR campaign guided team to a 4-A state championship...selected as first-team all-league and 4-A first-team all-state by both Washington Preps and the Associated Press...Seattle Times All-Area Team and member of Blue Chip list...passed for 34 touchdowns and 2,776 yards on the season...set a school record with six touchdown passes (on 18-of-22 night) against Meadowdale, breaking older brother John's mark...had five touchdown tosses the following week against Snohomish.
