LOPINA'S WSU CAREER
RS-JUNIOR (2008): Earned varsity letter after playing in nine games on the season, eight in a starting role...completed 87-of-153 passes for 841 yards with 11 interceptions...first career start came at Baylor, where he completed 17-of-26 passes for 174 yards and received WSU's "Big Play" award....following week against Portland State went 7-for-17 for 109 yards before suffering back injury that forced him to miss the next three games...attempted season-high 29 passes (completed 17) for 167 yards against Washington...his 48-yard strike to Jared Karstetter in final minute led to game-tying field goal...gained 194 yards on 59 rushes but netted just 18 yards rushing on season.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2007): Suffered a right calf injury early in the fall and was unable to practice until October.
RS-FRESHMAN (2006): Sat out the season per NCAA rules, but did participate in all practices during the fall as a member of the scout team.

Coached by Bob Ladouceur...earned three letters at national-power De La Salle High School, two as a starter...as a JUNIOR threw for 661 yards and four touchdowns in a season cut short by injury... carried 35 times for 233 yards and seven touchdowns...PrepStar All-West selection...SENIOR season threw for nearly 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns...led team to an 8-3-1 record and De La Salle's 13th-straight CIF North Coast Section title...added 750 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns on the ground...earned first-team All-CIF and first-team All-Bay Valley Athletic League honors...named the No. 2 player in the Bay Area, regardless of position, by the Contra Costa Times and was an All-Metro selection by the San Francisco Examiner.
