TRENT'S WSU CAREER JUNIOR (2007): Earned a varsity letter after starting each of WSU's 12 games at middle linebacker...named All-Pacific-10 Conference honorable mention...received WSU's Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week nomination following performances against San Diego State and Idaho...received team's weekly Cougar Claw Defense Award following performance against Stanford... received team's weekly Cougar Claw Special Teams Award following performance against California...was WSU's third-leading tackler...registered 89 tackles on the season (46 solo)...was third on squad in tackles-for-loss (5.5) and second in sacks (four)...also had four pass break-ups, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries...recorded double-digit tackles in each of WSU's first two games: 10 against Wisconsin and 13 against San Diego State...recorded two sacks against Stanford...also had one TFL against San Diego State, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington...had one sack each against Oregon and Washington...had nine tackles against Arizona and eight against both Idaho and Oregon State.

FRESHMAN (2005): Earned a varsity letter after appearing in each of WSU's 11 games...made five starts...started the final five games of the season, filling in for an injured Will Derting...named to Pacific-10 Conference All-Freshman Team...earned The Sporting News Freshman All-America Second Team and CollegeFootballNews.com Freshman All-America Second Team accolades...was WSU's Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week nomination following performance against Oregon...earned the team's weekly Cougar Claw Defense Award following performance against Grambling...earned the team's weekly Ironman Award following performances against Grambling and Oregon State...recorded 69 tackles on the season (38 solo), including three tackles-for-loss and a sack...also had three pass break-ups and a fumble recovery...registered 13 tackles and two tackles-for-loss against Oregon after replacing Will Derting early in the game...made 10 stops against Stanford and followed the performance with 12 tackles against UCLA...one of five true freshman to see varsity action...member of WSU's punt, kickoff and kickoff return special teams units.
