For the second time in five years, Washington State University is headed to the "grand daddy" of all bowl games-the Rose Bowl! The January 1 game in Pasadena will match the Cougars (10-2, co-champions of the Pac-10) against the Oklahoma Sooners (11-2, champions of the Big 12).

The game will also mark the first time in school history that Washington State has made back-to-back bowl appearances. The Cougars, ranked No. 6 in the final Bowl Championship Series rankings, now seek to cement their place as one of the University's greatest teams ever with a win on college football's biggest post-season stage.
