PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University Director of Athletics Jim Sterk has scheduled a press conference for Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. (PDT), at which time he is expected to introduce WSU's new women's head basketball coach.
The press conference will take place in the Bohler Athletic Complex Camp Room. Media who cannot attend the press conference in person may participate by phone.
Members of the current Cougar women's basketball team, department staff members and Cougar fans in the area are also welcome to attend the press conference.
WSU officials have been searching for a new coach since five-year head coach Sherri Murrell announced her resignation April 5.
