Daugherty a Guest Speaker at Colville Awards Ceremony

COLVILLE, Wash. - Washington State women's basketball Head Coach June Daugherty will serve as the keynote speaker at the Colville High School Athletic Awards Banquet Wednesday evening at the Agriculture Trade Center in Colville at 7 p.m.
The annual event is put on by the Bench Warmers, an organization made up of local community members, to honor CHS student-athletes that lettered during the previous school year.
During the banquet the Bench Warmers will honor Athletes of the Week from throughout the previous school year, award the Most Outstanding Athlete in each sport and present one four-year scholarship to both a male and female CHS student-athlete to a college of their choice. There are eight senior applicants for the two scholarships this year.
