Daugherty Recruiting Class Update The most heralded recruiting class in Washington State women's basketball history, ranked as high as No. 16 by some recruiting publications, continued to bring in honors and accolades in their final high school seasons. When the 2008 regional takes place, memories of Jackie Stiles' heroics at the 2001 regional will undoubtedly reverberate throughout the venue. Her performance seven years ago left an indelible mark to those who witnessed her feats, and has gone down in history as one of the greatest accomplishments in NCAA basketball history. Cougar Women Fall in First Round of Pac-10 Tournament In its seventh trip to the Pacific-10 Conference Women's Basketball Tournament, the Washington State women's basketball team held its first halftime lead, but the lead slipped away as the Cougars fell 66-45 to Oregon, Friday at HP Pavilion.
