PULLMAN, Wash. - For the third straight year the WSU rowing team will participate in the Row for the Cure. Saturday, Sept. 16, the women will launch their boats at Lewiston and row almost 26 miles back to Wawawai Landing.

The launch time is set for between 7 and 7:30 a.m. The event should take less than four hours. Each rower will spend about two hours rowing.

Community members are welcome to donate. Checks should be made out to either WSU Athletics or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Money raised during the event will be used for research, education, and treatment.
