Kiersten Dallstream Participating in U.S. National Team Training Camp

April 11, 2008

CARSON, Calif. - Washington State forward Kiersten Dallstream is currently participating in the United States Under-20 Women's National Team's Training Camp at The Home Depot Center.

In 2007, Dallstream became the first Cougar to earn All-Pacific-10 Conference First Team since Deka DeWitt in 1998.

A native of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Dallstream led the Cougars with 10 goals and 24 points, tied for eighth and tied for 10th, respectively, on the WSU single-season lists. She tied for seventh on the WSU single-season list with three game-winning goals.

U.S. Head Coach Tony DiCicco is currently preparing the team for CONCACAF Qualifying for the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. DiCicco will use the camp to evaluate numerous new players before he begins to narrow down the player pool in preparation for qualifying.

The U.S. U-20s will play a pair of matches during April 12, taking on Long Beach State at 11 a.m. and UCLA at 1 p.m.
