Pacific-10 Women's Soccer All-Academic Team Announced

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Eleven members of the Washington State University women's soccer team earned Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic honors, conference commissioner Tom Hansen announced, Thursday.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lindsay Parlee (3.96 grade point average/pre-medicine major) was named to the first team while redshirt-sophomore defender Caitlin Bonney (3.76/communication) and junior defender Maggie Dougher (3.75/movement studies) earned second team honors.

Eight Cougars received honorable mention. The list includes junior midfielder Caeli Abeyta (3.33/communication), junior defender Jenny Christoph (3.53/human development), junior forward Kiersten Dallstream (3.48/wildlife ecology), junior midfielder Carly Dobratz (3.18/apparel merchandising and textiles), redshirt-sophomore midfielder Mallory Fox (3.35/psychology), sophomore defender Ashley Johnson (3.60/undeclared), sophomore forward Emma Stolz (3.22/undeclared) and junior forward Elysse Van Leer (3.44/education). The 11 selections for the Cougars were one shy of conference leaders Oregon and Stanford.

 

 

Parlee and Bonney garnered their first conference academic award while Dougher was named to the second team for the second-straight year. Abeyta, Christoph, Dallstream, Dobratz, Fox and Van Leery picked up honorable mention for the second-consecutive season. Johnson and Stolz received honorable mention for the first time.
