Andrew Palileo Named Washington State Volleyball Coach Washington State University has hired Andrew Palileo (paw-leh-lay-oh) as its new head coach for volleyball, effective immediately, Director of Athletics Jim Sterk announced Tuesday. Cougar Volleyball Wraps Up 2007 Season with Pac-10 Win he Washington State volleyball team won a tough five-game match against Oregon State Nov. 23, to finish the 2007 season with a 10-22 overall record, 1-17 in Pacific-10 Conference action...after starting the season with six consecutive wins, the Cougars took on some tough, NCAA-bound non-conference teams prior to the always tough and highly-ranked Pac-10 opponents...going winless in the 20 matches, the Cougars sent off three seniors - setter Maureen Perez, MB Tara West, and OH Adetokunbo Faleti - with a 3-2 win over Oregon State.
